Chicks are newly hatched females (sexing is 90% accurate). All sales on chicks are final, no returns or refunds.

We will have a limited number of chicks available for walk-ins; but to ensure you get the breeds and numbers you desire, please fill out the form below by March 1st. You may also come by the store and fill out a form, call us or email us your information.

Chicks should arrive on Thursdays but delays occasionally do occur. As soon as your chicks arrive we will notify you either by phone or e-mail. All chicks must be picked up by the Saturday after their hatch date.

Once we notify you, you can pick up your chicks during our business hours:

Mon. thru Fri.: 9am – 5pm
Saturdays: 9am – 1pm

Remember to be prepared for your new chicks. We have feed, bedding, feeders, waterers, heat lamps and more!

    Welsummers are a Dutch breed known for its cold hardiness, calm temperament and production of dark reddish-brown eggs. They are a curious and inteligent breed suited well for backyards. Their intricate feather pattern adds beauty to your flock as well.

    GoldenCometGolden Comet:

    Also known as red stars, these birds are an early maturing Rhode Island Red cross that are quiet and easy to handle. They are high producers of brown eggs, making them a great choice for both family & commercial farms. These chicks are easy to sex by color: no worry of ending up with a rooster!

    Buff Orpington:

    Orpingtons are dual purpose, large and docile. They are a beautiful buff color and lay large brown eggs. They are very cold hardy and make great pets and mothers because of their quiet and friendly nature.

    Also known as the Easter egg chicken these birds produce tinted eggs of blue, green or pink. They vary in size and color with very detailed feather patterns. They are medium sized with pea combs and may have beards and/or muffs.
